S.K.C. (August) Championship Show 2018 Critique

Firstly, may I express my sincere thanks to the Officers and Committee of the Scottish Kennel Club for my invite to judge this super breed on their home soil. I was both honored and pleased to officiate and my thanks go to the exhibitors for their attendance and the sporting way in which they accepted my decisions. My overall impression of the breed was that of hounds that were typical of the breed standard and long may this continue.

PD 2(1)1st Mrs T M Freeman’s Lilac Wind Ozymandias At Glooscap 7 month old male who had a pleasing long head and dark eye. Strong neck. Adequate angulation front and rear. Would like a longer upper arm. Correct top line. Sound on the move.
I feel I must mention the other exhibit in the class who was retired by his owner for non- cooperation on the move. For me he excelled in breed type and overall shape and I will look forward to following his show career.
